The apartment is open plan, with the living, dining and kitchen all connected. There is a small desk for laptop work. Two en-suite bedrooms are available, as well as a general bathroom for guests. It's a great entertaining space. Uniquely it has a through-breeze from one cooler rear side of the building to the warmer, sun-bathed front. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning.
Barra is a special small village tucked onto the end of the big city Salvador. It has a beachfront feel to it, with the amazing Farol beach and Porto do Barra beach just a few minutes walk... often you forget you're in a big city. You can safely walk at night, along the newly developed sea front paths and cycle paths. This is also one of the two carnival routes. Local bars and restaurants exist, but upscale eateries and bars are located in Rio Vermelho, just 15 minutes by uber. This is an easier neighborhood to be based in, and you can easily travel to the sights and music events of Pelourinho whenever you need to. Apto Area: 150m² (1615 sq.ft.)
